Who they are
Daikin has been making heating and cooling equipment since the 1930s and sells in more than 140 countries.
For a homeowner, the practical point is the breadth of the range. There is a Daikin option for a single bedroom, for three rooms on one outdoor unit, and for a whole house with zones.

What Daikin makes for homes
Wall-mounted split systems
One indoor unit for one room. Daikin's wall-mounted range spans entry models to high-efficiency units, with draught-free airflow modes that direct cooled air away from people and warm air to the floor.
Floor-standing units
A compact console that sits low on the wall, suited to rooms where a high wall unit does not fit or where heating from floor level matters.
Multi-split systems
Several indoor units, in different rooms, on one outdoor unit. Fewer outdoor units, and each room keeps its own control.
Ducted systems
Whole-house heating and cooling through ceiling outlets, with zone controllers that let you condition only the rooms in use. Controllers are available with app and Wi-Fi access so the system can be adjusted from anywhere.

Faults in the equipment go to Daikin under its warranty. The term and conditions are in the warranty documents that come with the system, and your dealer can help you lodge a claim.
The installation is covered by the ACDA Guarantee
If a member's new domestic installation falls short of the ACDA Standards, ACDA engages an independent Chartered Engineer to investigate and arrange correction. Read the Guarantee.
