Become an ACDA accredited dealer
ACDA welcomes enquiries from established home air conditioning businesses, particularly in areas the association does not yet cover. Admission is by nomination and assessment.
Who can apply
The criteria
The Membership Committee assesses every applicant against the ACDA Standards. A member must be an established business with:
- Established business premises
- A back-up service department
- Design and engineering capability
- Licensed personnel for all work carried out
- The major manufacturers' equipment on offer
- A commitment to the Code of Ethics and the Workmanship Standards
ACDA covers domestic work only. Commercial work a member does sits outside the association.

Use the form below. The Membership Committee confirms the minimum requirements are met.
Nomination
A current accredited member puts the business forward.
Assessment
The committee assesses the business against the Standards and arranges a formal application.
Admission
The dealer signs up to the Code and the Standards and is covered by the Guarantee from the first new domestic installation.

Member tools and reports

Regular member meetings
Meetings and insider discussions with other accredited dealers, and member mailing lists for member-to-member contact.
Member-only events
Member events, and manufacturer-hosted events including facility tours.
The Guarantee behind your work
Independent Chartered Engineer review if a new domestic installation is disputed, and a committee to resolve it.
